Parents/guardians wishing to enroll their child(ren) in French Settlement High School must register online:

You will be prompted to upload the following documents:

1. Photo ID of parent/legal guardian

2. Student's official birth certificate

3. Student's Louisiana immunization record (up-to-date)

4. Three current proofs of residency (the residency documents must be in the parent/legal guardian's name and must show their physical address--P.O. Boxes are not accepted)

   • Acceptable proofs of residence: (at least one item with an asterisk must be provided)

     • ​*Utility bill (electric, gas, water, cable, phone)*

     • Property tax records

     • Voter Registration Card

     • SNAP Benefits

     • Bank statement

     • *Mortgage documents or property deed*

     • Current rental/lease agreement identifying the property owner, the lease holder (parent/legal guardian), the terms of the lease, and description of the property

     • A complete, notarized residency affidavit signed by the parent/legal guardian, the individual with whom the student and parent/legal guardian are residing, the notary public, and witnesses

5. Court ordered custody documents for parents who are separated or divorced (not applicable if the parents do not have a custody agreement and are not requesting limitations to one parent's rights)

   • If the person enrolling the student is not listed on the student's birth certificate, the court decree declaring the district resident to be the legal guardian of the student must be presented (provisional custody by mandate is not accepted)
