Four French Settlement High School students are now eligible to compete at the national beta convention after placing in their categories at the state convention in Lafayette.
Gabi Sibley placed third for her pencil drawing.
Alli Smith, Noah Gordon and Aydien Williford placed 4th in 2D Design.
"This was the first convention for any of these kids due to Covid," beta sponsor Mrs. Natasha McMorris said in a Facebook post about their accomplishments. "The behavior and leadership of the students was impeccable."
