ProStart Kitchen Takeover

On April 9, 2025 the talented students from our ProStart class took over Ruffino’s Italian Restaurant in Baton Rouge for an unforgettable culinary experience!

From prepping the kitchen to plating every course, these future chefs created a three-course gourmet meal from scratch and served it with professionalism and pride.

 Menu Highlights:

Appetizer: Boursin Cheese Fried Ravioli in a spicy tomato cream sauce

Entrée: Sous Vide Pork with Bourbon Mustard Jus and Rararoullie

Dessert: Cannoli with Chocolate Ganache and Pistachios

We are so proud of these incredible students and grateful to Ruffino's for giving them the opportunity to shine in a real-world restaurant setting. The hard work, creativity, and passion shown by these young chefs was nothing short of inspiring.
